I had a chance to play at 1984, a local retro arcade, yesterday. I absolutely love this place. It is packed full of games, memorabilia, and decorations that just fill you to overflowing with nostalgia. My 10 year old actually played pole position for like 15 whole minutes!
… Read the restThis fantastic assortment of illustrations comes from 1967. The only illustrator name I can find is Gray Morrow. I’m not sure if he did all the illustrations though, some weren’t signed. I think next week I’ll try to find some Analog from the 70s, I’m craving some newer art.

I went hunting for a brainless flick tonight to zone out to and stumbled onto The Machine. A quick preview of the trailer led me to believe that this might occupy my eyeballs well enough, but not to expect much.
Maybe my low expectations contributed, but I really liked this movie.
Roxy’s Dream is a small company that makes custom pet furniture. The stuff they make looks very high quality, mostly beds and food bowls. Check it out, it does look like great work.
