Lets all bow our heads for a moment of silence. Atari has filed for bankruptcy. While our minds may be darkening with overcast views of gaming future now that its past is crumbling from neglect, there may still be some sunlight on the horizon. Atari hopes that selling off some of the stronger and older assets, like pong might be able to prolong their life.
Did you know that Hot Wheels put out a series of cars that were atari themed? I didn’t. I think I had the centipede one at one time but had no idea there was an entire series. My personal favorite is absolutely the 2600 motorhome. That thing looks so cool.
