3D Printing with moon dust

3D printing is quickly becoming like linux in that people will attempt to cram it into whatever possible. This time around, scientists are 3d printing with moon dust! The basic idea here is pretty simple. We can send giant 3d printers to the moon and use what just happens to be extremely plentiful (moon dust), to build structures for a colony.

While they discuss the possibilities of using this on other planets such as mars, I have to wonder about the medium. Moon dust is known for being extremely fine and sticky. It is perfect for this kind of thing. Mars however, doesn’t have such a perfect material literally EVERYWHERE.
