Whatever story problems you may have with Ridley Scott’s Promethius movies, you have to admit that the sets were intensely beautiful. I would love to have been able to go and stand there and touch those pieces. p.s. you can totally rent it on Amazon right now for $3.99.
A few videos have come out with tons of behind the scenes footage from the set. In the video above, the “space jockey” set gets some love. Can you imagine sitting in that chair? I can.
There was a pretty in-depth behind the scenes feature produced for this movie. I love how much they’ve shown off the concept art and story boarding for the creatures.
There’s also a great art book full of concept images. I love this stuff, and I think even Geiger would be happy to see this series continuing
I know this video was for Alien Covenant, but it is still pretty cool to see how the sets come together.
