Join the Craftsman Steady Craftin as he takes you through the process of making a screen ready fake bolt from Silicone.
Sometimes you need a light weight, not dangerous at all, bolt to throw around. In this video, the soothing narrations of the Craftsman Steady Craftin will take you through the process of casting and then molding a bolt. He is using silicone, which is difficult to paint, so he actually mixes a bunch of pigments into the material before the pour.
You even get a little bonus project where he creates a detailed version of the top of the bolt head using molding putty instead of the previous system.
