I’ve been surprised at the amount of people who have never heard of the movie Slither. Not only is it just simply an incredible movie, FX nerds should geek out over the practical effects.
The amount of latex and slime used alone is impressive.
One of the things that is particularly fun is to notice how much of the tentacle work in this movie is still just waving around strings! I also love that Brenda, aka the “Brenda Monster” had no idea what happened to her character until after she was hired. Here pregnant phase was so large they had to rent an airplane hanger to build it in!
