The Isle of Dogs is such an intense movie. As you watch, sometimes you suddenly remember that this entire thing is fully stop-motion, not CGI. It is the largest amount of puppets created by hand (at least that is what they say in the video). To clarify, these aren’t 3d printed versions. These are hand sculpted, cast and molded, and hand painted… for all 800 characters, with different facial expressions. Simply jaw dropping.
