I love Deviant Art. It’s a great outlet for artists and those of us that enjoy seeing well crafted original artwork benefit as well. But just today I came across another platform that makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. It’s called Behance and its goal is to “Showcase & Discover Creative Work”.

There’s all kinds of different mediums represented, and each presentation is made in a vertical scrolling album. But one specific type of art sucked down my free time today like quicksand. There are a ton of albums that feature scans/photographs of the artist’s sketchbook laying open on a table. Some of it’s very polished. Some has been abandoned mid sketch. But all of it feels like something I haven’t come across yet.

The images above are from three different artists that I really enjoyed. Clicking the images will take you to their sketchbooks. But just search for “Sketchbook” on the site and you’ll come across a lot more.
