Papercraft Millenium Falcon From Scratch: Part 1

I had a blast making this little camper for a retro Tonka Toy. One of the most fun parts was the papercraft woodstove, pots, pans, and cups. I was itching to tackle another papercraft project but I have this nasty little habit of doing things the hard way.

I had seen some people building these little kits. A metal Millenium Falcon that comes in flat sheets and is assembled like a papercraft model. I thought they were really neat, but I can’t just buy a kit… that isn’t me. Even if mine turns out completely crappy, I gotta try!

The tools I use. There are 3 pairs of tweezers there, an exacto knife, and a pen. I also use a ton of superglue

So here is the first bit of the process. The part where I start bulking out the main mass. After I build up the big shapes I’ll go back through and start adding details and stuff.

I have no idea what I’m doing and I just eyeball and cut from sheets of construction paper. We’ll see how it turns out!
