With the Dark Crystal returning with a new story soon, there’s a lot of hype going on. Netflix teased it a bit with this incredible video that really shows off the practical effects they’ll be using. I can’t express how happy I am to see that the main characters are puppets first, with added effects. Looks like some of the other random creatures might be CGI totally, but the bulk of what you see appears to be grounded in reality.
I am so pumped for this! The show is set to premier in August and I’m counting down the days.
They didn’t just tease the show with this video at Comic Con, they also had a panel including Mark Hamill, Taron Egerton, Lisa Henson, and Louis Leterrier.
